All our safaris include excellent Toyota LandCruisers adapted for the best safari experience with pop-up roof with unlimited mileage, all national parks entrances, camping fees and permits, unlimited water during the safaris, donations to the local communities and accommodation as agreed (on full board or all inclusive basis).

We do not include the country visas, and items of personal interest like souvenirs or extra services/tours not agreed beforehand. Tips are not included (the industry recommends a guideline of $10 USD per person per day). Also, if after you book your tour, the government decides to apply increases in park fees, camping fees, concession fees or others, these shall be added to your contract as well.

Yes, we do apply a penalty of 10% if you cancel more than 50 days before your tour, a 20% penalty if you cancel between 30 and 50 days earlier, a penalty of 50% if you cancel with 15 to 30 days notice, a 75% penalty if you cancel with 7 to 14 days notice, and a penalty of 100% if you cancel with less than 7 days notice.

For the down payment, we accept payments via wire transfer , On some occasions payments are also possible with credit card via Pesapal although there is a fee for this service. For the final payment, you can use the same method or pay us in cash or credit card when you arrive.

If you do an overland safari, they start from Arusha, so you can use either the domestic Arusha Airport or the international Kilimanjaro airport. If you do a fly in safari, then you can start from any point in the country.Most advised  airport is Kilimanjaro International Airport

Well, we always recommend it because we like to start our safaris early in the morning and on the last day we like to avoid having to worry about reaching the airport on time. But, of course, we are flexible and we can start the safari when you arrive at the airport and can finish any safari with a drop off at the airport. However, in those cases, we always recommend flights arriving in the morning of the first day and flights leaving in the evening of the last day.

1. 1. All necessary documents: passport, vaccine certificate and others that might apply.
   2. Any medication you might need, i.e Carry along your medical kit
   3. Sunblock, sunglasses, hat, lip balm and moisturizer.
   4. Your camera: we recommend bringing a wide lens (about 17-55mm) for those scenery pictures, and a telephoto lens (in the 200-400mm range) to catch animals at a distance.
   5. Binoculars: We do provide a pair of top notch binoculars per every 2 persons in the vehicle but feel free to bring your own which you may be more used to. Binoculars really make a big difference on a safari.
   6. Clothes: Comfortable and casual clothing, with khaki, beige or green colours. You should pack T-shirts, shirts with long sleeves, jeans, a sweater and a jacket (for the cold mornings), swimwear (if the accommodation you selected has pool or if you do a beach extension) and comfortable hiking shoes.
   7.  Insect repellent

This is something we take very seriously. Upon booking us, we will send you a form in which you will be able to indicate any dietary preference or restriction or any specific request you might have. We will then provide that information in advance to all the hotels.

Safety and security should be a concern regardless where one chooses to travel these days and travel to Africa is no different. As a continent, Africa is quite large and an incident in one country doesn’t necessarily impact the entire continent, anymore then such an occurrence in your home city would. While it is true that some cities in East Africa might be more prone to crime then others, the vast majority of any incidents are targeted at people who live and work in the specific country. We at Africa Serendipity are in constant contact with our land outfitters in both countries, and their respective government authorities make enormous efforts to prevent tourists from being exposed to any such dangers.

Each day will be different, each an adventure. Your days will begin with an early 5:30am wake up, be served coffee or tea and cookies before heading out for the early game-drive at about 6:30am. After about 3-hours, you’ll return for a full breakfast. The rest of the morning you can use to simply relax, catch-up on sleep, go swimming (weather permitting). Lunch is served by 1pm. Between 3:30pm – 4:00pm you will depart on your afternoon game-drive; returning to camp/lodge around 6:30pm. You will have time to freshen up before “sundowners” at sunset; served dinner around 8pm.
Note: Night game-drives are not permitted within the National Parks in Tanzania. If you are, however, on private lands outside the National Parks, game-walks can be done after breakfast, and night game-drives are available and often conducted.

Yes you need to secure your Spot to travel with us with at least a down payment of 75% 60 days prior to your Tour with us  and you will complete the 25% Payment 7 days before your arrival in Tanzania or upon your arrival.

For Safari groups of 5 to 13 people, are highly encouraged for better pricing. But in order to create fun and family ambiance groups of at least 10 are very good.

You can bring as much as 10,000 usd or its equivalent in cash, for your personal use such as souvenir, Tips and Personal gifts, But you can have as much amount of money you can possibly carry with you in your credit cards with no limitations.

Green season is the wet season in East Africa, and most likely these months are 15th March – 15th May.
